Day 1
🎭Welcome to New Orleans
Thursday • January 28
✨ Welcome to one of our favorite cities in America.
After checking into the beautiful Hotel Monteleone, we'll kick off the weekend exactly the way we did the first time, with cocktails in the famous rotating Carousel Bar.
We visited during Mardi Gras season before, but this time we're arriving even closer to the main celebration. Expect more music, more costumes, more beads, and even more of that infectious New Orleans energy.
Take time to settle in, meet your fellow Bag Ladies, explore the French Quarter, or simply wander until something delicious (or delightfully unexpected) finds you.
Because in New Orleans...
...you never know what's waiting around the next corner. 🎷
Day 2
🛍️ Shopping, 25¢ Martinis & Southern Charm
Friday • January 29
Today we're heading to Magazine Street, one of New Orleans' favorite neighborhoods for boutiques, art galleries, wine shops, home décor, antiques, and local treasures.
Shop a little.
Shop a lot.
Or simply people-watch with a coffee in hand. ☕
Afterward we'll enjoy lunch at the legendary Commander's Palace, where the food is unforgettable, the famous 25¢ martinis are dangerously fun, and during Carnival season...anything can happen. 🍸
On our last visit, lunch turned into a party as Mardi Gras queens made their way through the restaurant, guests jumped into conga lines, and the entire place erupted in celebration. It was one of those magical moments you simply can't plan.
The afternoon and evening are yours to continue exploring at your own pace.
Day 3
🎶🍹Sazeracs, History & Hidden Corners
Saturday • January 30
Today is all about the heart of the French Quarter.
We'll start the morning with a classic New Orleans tradition, a leisurely Jazz Brunch at Court of Two Sisters, where live jazz, Creole favorites, and a charming courtyard set the tone for the day.
From there, we'll wander through Jackson Square, browse the French Market, duck into local shops, admire historic architecture, and leave plenty of room for spontaneous discoveries.
Later we'll visit the Sazerac House, learning the fascinating history behind New Orleans' signature cocktail before enjoying either a guided tasting or a hands-on cocktail experience.
Because learning is always better with bourbon.
The evening is yours to continue exploring, or simply follow the sound of live music wherever it leads.
With Carnival season in full swing, we'll keep an eye on the parade schedule. You never know when we'll pause to catch a parade, wave at a float, or collect a few signature throws along the way.
Day 4
🌿Louisiana Stories & One Last Night
Sunday • January 31
Today’s journey takes us beyond the French Quarter for a moving and unforgettable experience.
We’ll join a small group tour visiting both Laura Plantation and Whitney Plantation, two remarkably different perspectives on Louisiana’s complex history that provide important context for the region we’ve spent the weekend enjoying.
After returning to the city, we’ll gather for one final dinner together at Napoleon House before heading to Frenchmen Street, where live music spills from nearly every doorway. 🎶
Sunday night on Frenchmen feels like the perfect finale: less frantic than Bourbon Street, full of music, and just the right amount of mischief.
One last cocktail.
One last song.
One last chance to let New Orleans completely have its way with us. 🎷
Day 5
✈️ Until Next Time...
Monday • February 1
☕ Enjoy one last café au lait.
🍬 Grab those last-minute pralines.
🚶♀️ Take one more stroll through the French Quarter.
Then it's time to head home, with new friendships, unforgettable memories, and probably a few beads tucked into your suitcase alongside the stories you'll be telling for years to come. ✨
Because no one leaves New Orleans quite the same as they arrived.
Until the next adventure. ✈️
